It was an interesting day as I was able to speak to a range of UCAS representatives and University representatives. Hearing how the facilities continue to grow and improve at one of my old universities (Loughborough) was exciting. The representative explained now the gym facilities had now doubled in floor space and can accommodate full teams of premier league referees without disrupting the elite student athletes who train there.
What struck me was the variety of Universities on offer from veterinary, business and fashion specialist Universities to the more traditional Russel Group Unis. Listening to conversations between students and representatives it was clear they were concerned with

Facilities on Campus
Was the University well located
The competition between UK Universities for students is fierce. This has resulted in significant investment from Universities in courses, student experience and facilities which was clear to anyone walking around the center.
